Cross Country 2018

Cross Country is a great way for athletes to keep fit in the off season. It also provides a great warm up or training run for other sports as well as the opportunity to meet with their friends from Little Athletics.

To add to the fun, parents are invited to join in! Parents can either run with their child or on their own, they can take it seriously (run for a PB) or simply enjoy a run around Ballam Park with friends - either way it's fun for the whole family.

For parents not running, relax and enjoy a coffee with the paper while the kids enjoy catching up with friends and keeping fit!

Cross Country is a fun way for parents and children to start the weekend whilst keeping fit at the same time.

COME DOWN AND GIVE IT A GO!

Venue: Ballam Park Athletics Centre (Google Maps)
Course: All event courses start in the athletics arena, loop around Ballam Park and finish back in the arena.
Time: Sign-in: 8:45am; Events 9:00am
Duration: Approximately 1 hour for all events to complete
Cost: $2:50 per event (one event per session). Same cost for parents.
  Cross Country registration is included in the summer registrations. Athletes that have not registered for the summer season are required to register with LAVic for Cross Country (register.flac.com.au select the 'Cross Country only' option).

# | Points will be earned in these rounds. Competitors must compete in at least 6 of these rounds to be eligible for an end-of-season trophy.

BOLD | Events held at our home course, start/meeting at Ballam Park Athletics Track.

Handicap event: Competitors will start at different time intervals based on their average finishing times from Program 2.

Trophies: To be eligible for a trophy at the end-of-season presentation you must compete in at least 6 of the events marked with a hash (#).
